Caleb forgot to pack shirts. Any shirts. But before he realized it, we had already traveled 6 hours to Busch Gardens and got our hotel and went to bed.
The next morning, moments before we left, the discovery was made.
This means he had the shirt on his back and some spare shorts at his disposal. I then reminded him of how I asked him if he was remembering everything before we left his house. I’m not so sure if he thought it was as funny as I did, though. But instead of heading to a nearby outlet store, we all decided it would be for the lols if he were to wear the same shirt the whole weekend. While he didn’t make it the entire weekend with just the one shirt, he did make it 36 hours. It was smelly and awesome.
We rode all of the rides worth riding (some more than once) and we felt like royalty with the Quick Queue pass from Busch Gardens. For the first part of the day we hardly had to use it at all, the lines were bearable and we decided to save them in case lines started to grow. I think we all felt it was worth the extra cost, as later the lines were getting longer and we all felt less like standing around doing nothing. Apollo’s Chariot waiting time with the Quick Queue pass: about 30 seconds.
It was a great trip all the way around. I never realized just how much I love road trips until this weekend. Caleb, his brothers, and me spent over 48 hours together and it was awesome. There is some photographic evidence that Ronnie took coming soon.
I really hope we do something like this again soon.
