The blood-red garnets shimmer in the sand, bringing it alive with reflected sunlight.     Caitlin is growing up faster than I could have ever wanted her to.  She’s my little sister, though, and always will be no matter how much she grows up.  She makes me realize just how much growing up I still have to do.

    As much as I don’t want her to leave, I hope she is truly happy with Mike, the new addition to our family, my brother-in-law.  I love you both and wish you the best.  Always remember to take care of each other, because you have something special together.  Don’t ever forget that.

    I know you’ll be nearly an entire country away in just a little while, but I’ll always be just a phone call away if you ever need anything. And you had better call me even if you don’t need anything.

    Love you little sis.
